EDUCATION

Dr Michael Znidarich was born on August 22, 1950 in Croatia where he completed his apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter in 1968. He graduated with an Associate Diploma of Engineering (Electrical) in 1993, and Associate Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) in 1995, both from TAFE in Perth, Western Australia. He received his BTech (Electrical), MTech (Engineering and Management), and ME (Electrical) degrees from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia in 1999, 2001, and 2003 respectively. In 2008 he completed his Ph.D. degree from University of Western Australia related to design of large synchronous electrical machines.

Early trade/craft background combined with many years of practical “hands-on” experience and highest academic qualifications, and many years of applied cutting edge engineering experience, combines into an engineer that can engine-ere.  Produced real life designs are always manufacturable and perform their function.

Dr Znidarich is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers Australia and Chartered Professional Engineer (FIEAust CPEng), Member of Electrical and IT Colleges, Registered Professional Engineer in Australia, Registered on National Engineering Register in Australia (NER) in the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT and Electronics Engineering Areas of Practice, APEC Engineer, and Registered International Professional Engineer Australia (IntPE(Aus)).

Recognised by the Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland as Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT and Electronics Engineering Areas of Practice.

Internationally, Dr Znidarich is recognised as a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE) and is a member of IEEE Power & Energy Society and a member of IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society.
