SERVICE SHOP SUPPORT

With close to 50 years of apparatus service shop experience (both "hands on", craft and management) and formal electrical and mechanical design qualifications, Dr Znidarich understands and is well placed to provide engineering support for apparatus service shops when required.  This can be for routine day-to-day activities, or when more formal design, investigations, or RCA reporting is required. 

TYPICAL SERVICE SHOP SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

  • Inspection of failed rotationg machines received for repairs, RCA, expert opinions, and formal reporting;

 

  • Reverse engineering, CAD drawings and  specifications for replacement parts;

 

  • Specifications, design and assistance with procurement of replacement HV windings;

 

  • Installation and testing procedures;

 

  • Repair and testing scopes;

 

  • Assistance and expert opinions for procurement of new production or testing equipment;

 

  • Mechanical design of repair and production tooling.
